Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef Cook to lead our kitchen team in creating nourishing and delectable vegetarian cuisine. As a key member of our hospitality team, the Chef Cook will be responsible for curating menus, sourcing fresh local ingredients, and delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with our wellness-oriented philosophy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative and nutritious vegetarian menus catering to diverse dietary preferences and special requests.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align culinary offerings with wellness programs and retreat schedules.
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and maintain high standards of food presentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Cook or similar role, preferably in a vegetarian-focused kitchen.
  • Proficiency in creating diverse vegetarian dishes with a strong emphasis on flavor, nutrition, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of sourcing local, organic ingredients and adapting menus to seasonal availability.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for well-being, holistic living, and a commitment to promoting healthy eating.
