The music industry is crying out for a solution to its systemic inefficiencies. Every participant, from small artists to major labels, suffers from lost and delayed royalties. Fixing the music industry, with its entrenched interest groups and historical resistance to change, is a significant undertaking. It is our belief, however, that this challenge is achievable with Utopia Music. The solution we’re building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents. Rather, it promises to boost their cash flows, and those of the artists they support, forming a system that works to the advantage of all participants.

Utopia Music aims to upgrade the entire music industry by creating the world’s most comprehensive blockchain-based consumption and metadata service – the Utopia Open Platform (UOP) – enhanced by real-time analytical tools that enable artists to track, trace and process all revenue streams.

In order to fund the development of the UOP, Utopia Music is conducting a state-of-the-art Security Token Offering (STO) in 2019. By partnering with the likes of PwC, IBM and Vice Media, Utopia can ensure best-in-class execution across all aspects of the token sale, while focusing on growing the platform. Just as importantly, Utopia has already secured some substantial traditional financing – and is on its way to raise even more – providing the company with the wings it needs to take off and start with its publishing catalogue acquisition strategy.

Founded in Switzerland in 2016 by serial entrepreneurs, we are an ever-growing team of 60+ people across Switzerland, Sweden and Spain, made of some of the finest technologists, financers and music industry veterans, with the goal of creating a better world of music.
