PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This role lends crucial support to the efficient operation of our clients Global Logistics function. The 4PL account manager will be solely dedicated to our clients product.
We are searching for communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about the clients they serve. The account manager will act as a point of contact between our clients global logistics team and the Transport distribution company implants around Europe. He/She will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, always striving to find the solutions which best fit the individual needs of the client.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. He/She should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with the client.
- Be the primary point of contact between the customer logistics team. Build long-term relationships with the customer.
- Leading, training, and managing other implants at customer and dealing with any issues that may arise.
- Managing daily operations
- Achieving high customer targets and goals while motivating implant at customer to do the same.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives - Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about customer behavior
Maintaining updated knowledge of customer products and services.
Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
KPI / REPORTING / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Acting as a client advocate
Monitor, track, and report KPI data daily, and present on a monthly basis.
Manage daily carrier performance and report on it (daily, monthly, and FYTD); Prepare and distribute Carrier Scorecards on a monthly basis providing Bacardi FYTD service results.
Weekly updating/reporting to the client on fuel surcharge fluctuations, as well communicate lane changes on either cost or mode updates
Monitor, track, and correct modal lane deficiencies. Prime Tender Acceptance %, and peak/volume surge analysis.
Publish Weekly scorecard of Operational and financial performance
Complete and total responsibility for “Monthly KPI Reporting” and QBR’s (Quarterly Business Reviews) finally the distribution of scorecard to entire clients Leadership and Operations team(s)
Provide quotes, data, or perform analysis for the client on “as needed” basis.
Weekly review of carrier’s invoices payment vs clients payment
Tender: act as facilitator. Compile data; send invitations; generate RFQ file, support clients in analyses, implement tender, tender outcome.
Functional Skills :
Exposure to supply chain issues within an integrated planning environment
Knowledge of the transport and WH industry with all the related attributes of logistics
International Trade: Understand basic incoterms meaning (CPT, CFR, FCA).
Business Skills :
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on custom
