Veritas Worldwide Field Operations Organisation (WFO)

The WFO team are critical to Veritas’ success. This group engages with the customer from the first contact of discussing how Veritas can support their key business challenges through to the implementation of technical propositions based on Veritas’s product portfolio in NetBackup NSP. The WFO organisation works collaboratively to maintain a winning, ambitious and a customer-comes-first culture. SCOPE OF ROLE:

Responsible for end to end sales cycle and deal closure sales of NetBackup SaaS Protection solutions, in partnership with Channel, Reseller and Distribution partners across Veritas’ offerings to both existing and new customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell the 360 Veritas’ offerings by developing client relationships with decision makers up to and individuals to drive new business
  • Responsible for creating focused territory plans to nurture and develop opportunities to drive Enterprise and Large Enterprise revenue targets
  • Act as the primary sales PoC for Enterprise customers and partners representing Veritas
  • Develop key strategies to create strong virtual team/resources to maximise sales within the assigned territory
  • Engage effectively with other areas of the business: Technical Sales, Channel, Inside Sales, Sales Operations and Marketing
  • Actively build a strong network of contacts within partner companies
  • Identifies and qualifies opportunities against a tried and tested sales process
  • Accountable for meeting assigned sales quota

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 year experience in selling Veritas NetBackup, Veritas NetBackup SaaS Protection, InfoScale and Data Insight
  • Knowledge on Veritas pricing processes
  • Strong and deep know-how on Availability, Backup Protection and Data Insight solutions (API)
  • Must have completed, or be due to complete Apprenticeship IT Technical Sales Level 3 or equivalent.
  • SME on M365 SaaS backup solutions
  • Good understanding of cyber recovery solutions based on hardware and software technologies
  • Results oriented, driven to succeed!
  • Strong achievement exceeding quota and consistent over performance in New Business sales
  • Successful experience of growing Enterprise customer relationships within the assigned region/market
  • An excellent communicator, with the ability to interact at senior level internally and with external organizations, up to C-suite level
  • Experience of working within a fast paced, high-tech Software business environment
  • Working knowledge of the IT Software Data Protection offerings and designated region/market
  • Good understanding of Channel / Distributors
